TOLSTOY TALES

In 1849, Leo Tolstoy established a school on his rural estate (Yasnaya Polyana) and he wrote stories for his students. In a variety of subjects, we can find a brave rescue dog who lives in London, a loving lion and talking wolves. These tales explore friendship and kindness between humans and animals.

Cuentos para niños. Leo Tolstoi. Translation: Selma Ancira. Secretaría de Cultura, México, 2017.
