Character design for the #RefugeeChildren Campaign created by UNHCR. 

 

Each mask represents a different element from the story: the demon embodies the violence or danger that people live in their home countries. The deer mask with a butterfly and flowers represent the vulnerable children and all the changes going through their lives. Finally, the sunny mask symbolizes the host country, hope and their new home.
